I'm Facing Illness
You are not alone in this
“The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.”
Psalm 34:18

When Healing Takes Time
“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
Isaiah 40:31
“The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.”
Lamentations 3:25-26
Some healing comes quickly. Some comes slowly. Some conditions stay longer than anyone hoped. Waiting is not failure, and slow progress is still progress. God is at work in ways you cannot always see — strengthening your spirit, shaping your patience, and holding you when the timeline feels unfair.
For today: Give yourself permission to take today one step at a time.
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God.”
Isaiah 41:10

Living With Chronic Illness
Faithful God, this is not a short season I am walking through — it is a long road, and some days I am weary of it. I grieve what has changed. I miss what used to be easier. Thank You that You do not grow tired of caring for me, even when I grow tired of being sick. Give me wisdom to pace myself, courage to ask for help, and grace to accept good days without fearing the hard ones that may follow. Help me find meaning and even small joys along this path. You see every hidden struggle. Hold me steady. Amen.
“My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”

Strength for Today
God's grace is measured for the day you are in — not the whole journey at once.
“He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.”
Isaiah 40:29
“My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”
2 Corinthians 12:9
“My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.”
Psalm 73:26
“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying.”
Revelation 21:4
