I'm Facing Illness
You are not alone in this
“The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.”

You're Never Alone
“Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.”
Psalm 139:7-10
Hospital rooms, waiting areas, and quiet nights at home can feel isolating. Whether others understand your pain or not, God does. There is no ward, no diagnosis, no middle-of-the-night fear that can place you beyond His care. You are seen — fully, gently, and without turning away.
For today: Reach out to one trusted person today, and remember that God is already there.
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God.”
Isaiah 41:10

Caring for Someone You Love
Lord of compassion, someone I love is suffering and I do not know how to help enough. I am weary from caring, yet I do not want to step away. Give me wisdom to know what they need — presence, practical help, or simply quiet company. Guard my heart from bitterness and my body from burnout. Comfort them in ways I cannot. When I feel helpless, remind me that prayer is not nothing. Teach me to love faithfully, even when the road is long. Amen.
“My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”

“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying.”
Revelation 21:4
